Thunder ready to roll in Cumberland Lodge

Surrey Thunder will try to replicate his good shape to home in the Home Raceday Targets of Saturday #3M Cumberland Lodge Stakes at Ascot.
When finished sixth at August at Haydock, this season has conducted six times, but’d lined up once in Britain
His variant from France stacks and he ended in front of Soft Light, that had been supplemented for the Arc at Longchamp in April, on Wednesday.
He was able to get his head out.
“I just should confirm everything with all the owners, however, the intention is to operate,” said Tuite.
“He needed to receive his head before time, he would barely run a bad race all season and he did it fairly smoothly, truth be told.
“We had planned this race all along, it has always seemed the right race and he manages cut in the ground.”
Owned by exactly the same syndicate Surrey Pride looks to have a future following his triumph at Bath.
“I think Surrey Pride might be another nice one for the Surrey boys,” said Tuite.
“He ran a nice race time. He did the job, although I don’t know how great the race at Bath was. I’d say that would be him for the entire year.
“I’m not sure where he might return as he’d have a punishment in a rookie race and they’re hard to give away.
“He will improve with age and also for stepping up in trip, however I’m not sure if I’d need to throw him into a Group race – then it’s tricky to know where to go. They will have lots of fun finding out how good he’s in time.”
