Nicolas Pepe withdraws from Ivory Coast squad to work on fitness with Arsenal

Arsenal ahead Nicolas Pepe has retreated to perform on his fitness in London.
It’s understood the 24-year-old will return to prepare for your forthcoming Premier League fixtures and doesn’t have an accident.
Pepe did spend a short time during the break along with his national squad but the federation and both Arsenal agreed it was best that he did not feature in the friendlies against Tunisia and Benin.
The 24-year-old joined Arsenal to get a club-record # 72m commission in August from Lille but was late to join up with the squad after his exploits in the African Cup of Nations in the summertime, where the quarter-finals were attained by Ivory Coast.
Pepe made his Premier League debut in the chair on the opening day of the entire year at Newcastle, with his first start coming from the 3-1 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield before his very first taste of their north London derby ended in a 2-2 draw with Tottenham.
He is yet to open his own Premier League grading account, but will hope to rectify this in Arsenal game away in Watford on September 15, live.
